This article assumes that you already have a V3 CloudSites hosting account and that you have a domain with a hosted site and a backed up MySQL database ready to restore. PhpMyAdmin requires that your database backup file be less than 80MB in size. If your is larger than 80MB please contact our support department.
Please login to your myCloud interface at customer.gearhost.com and proceed to your myCloud Control Panel.

Once inside of your myCloud Control Panel click on Database Manager and select details for the database we need to restore.
By clicking on the orange link for https://phpmyadmin.cloudsites.gearhost.com/ we are brought to a login page for the phpmyadmin utility.
Each item we need to enter here will be visible in the details of the Database Manager in your myCloud interface including the server.
Once logged in to PhpMyAdmin you should see your databases on the left side. Click on the database that we need to restore.
If you are migrating a database for the first time please, first make a database inside of your myCloud Database Manager. If you are unfamiliar with how to do this please see this article:
Now that the database we need to restore is selected on the left we should see some structure or tables that we will need to remove.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click "check all". Drop the menu down to the right and select "drop"
Now select the "Import" option from the main tool bar at the top of the page.
Choose the .sql file from from your backup location.
Click on okay and your backed up SQL file will upload to GearHost servers.
